Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

CX was destroyed

After Maria's exit, It is all ELT blame game and power hunger. Why the poor engineers and lower grades have to be the victim of this war ? Because of mgmt. politics, If they unable to protect these non-mgmt employees then these employees should approach legal, account and hold them responsible

Agree with the post. CX is so big with so much fat that overall, it is still a safer place then the rest of the other orgs. It will take many intentional LRs to even trim CX to the appropriate size. There is still some good mileage left in CX if you want to kick back until the economy get back to its high.

CX is the place to be. After V2Momma's busy internal work, been chilling more than ever. Just navigate our big CX org to avoid LR. It is not that hard. When your org is slim, there is no place to hide.

Good luck, y'all

Get rid of EVERY SP leader director up. Sales and services both. This includes all leaders in the past 3 years that may still be around. Rewarding that bunch of incompetence by promoting them should be met with the proper consequences. Work your way to the enterprise side afterwards.

Leaders came from Google tried to disrupt and bring change but they were not aware that they were in fight with mafia. Legacy and lethargic leadership does not want to give away their power and money :)

No clear steering or directives in CX after V2momma disappeared. Delivery projects are falling apart, and many big projects lost funding. Who is driving growth in CX now?

Now without Maria, isn't CX the land of milk and honey?

There we many people LR'd from CX. I personally know a lot of them that were LR'd, last February 2024 and previously December 2023.

Keep hearing CX will get hit every single LR on this site. Never happened the last six rounds and will not happen this round. When will you people learn.

CX will get hit. The CSE (generally a worthless lot) team will feel it. TAC will always feel it. CX product management (let that sink in) will feel it again. CX overlay muppets (OKR muppets and the like) will get redundancy notices as well. It will take a bit to reverse the CX bloat Maria V2momma unleashed.

Heard that part of them were relocated to safe haven leaving part of them in limbo
In Q1, CX was flying but looks like other leadership did not like :)
