No and the previous poster refering his manager having to provide a list of names is talking nonsense. It's determined at VP level and set in stone - there is no consultation with lower management. MD's and Directors will know and will be under NDA at this stage but managers will have no knowledge.
Managers that don’t know at this point are themselves being cut.

Yes they know already the names. In my case (February LR) my manager had to provide names of candidates - then the director/VP had do approve or change the candidates (nobody knows actually the criteria - but boot lickers are safe). My manager received the final list 3 days before the LR.
