SBG will get hit big again this time. More cuts directed at Directors & Sr Managers levels. Another reorg across SBG.

CX is going to get decimated with 7% LR, ughh very worried about my job…
7%, so about 6k people being laid off.
Meraki is safe, Splunk is safe.
AppD is completely culled, CX is cut in half.
They just announced an intent to acquire some other startup so… 🤷♀️
What they need is a leadership change about 3-4 levels deep. What they’ll get is that some poor software engineers who dared open their mouths in the wrong forum to question the stupidity will be let go. And more of the useless leaders’ incompetent friends and minions will be hired.
TG is an amazing talker but he also has failed in every endeavor since Ironport to actually get what he's promised actually done. And that's true now, buying an ebpf company accomplished nothing and he is in the process of failing to build what he hyped up yet again.
It's just another example of how poor the vetting is in Cisco for executives. He has been known to be borderline delusional/promising fictions for years. I am shocked he could pass a reference check with any product person who worked for him, though this being Cisco there weren't any reference checks.
Isn’t SBG a “high growth” area that Cisco is investing into heavily? It has YoY increases - albeit lower than I’d like to see. What gives?
TG was brought back because SS is a horrible leader and got demoted. If there is a leadership shake-up, then she should be 1st to go.
More cuts? Hopefully. Cut some of the stupid redundant products that no one can keep straight. SBG is a clown show. Who thought bringing TG back was a good idea? Charisma void. Too many cooks in too many timezones. If you want to pretend you have a development center in India, then teach them how to communicate with an international workforce. Presentation skills matter.
