I heard 10%, which is 8500. If you discount 20% then roughly it is around 5.5K to 6.5K
Where have you heard it's 10%? Are we here in a supermarket or from where do discounts come from? A 20% "discount" would make it not 5500 to 6500 but 8500*0.80=6800.

Agreed, it should be at least 20,000 at a minimum. And ask for the golden parachutes back from Maria, Gerri, and Ruba
It was put to board, about 8 years ago, that Cisco headcount should be cut in half in light of the impact of cloud and Cisco inability to be seen as a cloud provider (blame the partner organisation as they put the brakes on any direct selling) back then hc was 67k, mid 30kg ish… maybe Cisco is finally making the right decision and ditching the partner team!
