Big LR in US TAC teams (Wireless, RP, Sec, DC, & COL)

As Cisco gradually moves TAC to Mexico, several TAC engineers in RCDN (West shift) and RTP (EAST shift) will be affected. Plan accordingly (probably too late)!

FYI: Your managers have no "detailed info" on who is affected and who is not... we do NOT know...

Doubt it, TAC is customer facing. The roles that will be eliminated are non customer facing

Absurd that they're downgrading TAC even further. I have to constantly requeue cases to US TAC engineers because they're by far the most competent and its not even close. I'm sure this will go over well with customers.

Any approximate numbers of impacted TAC employees being talked about yet?

TAC was a major cisco plus - there was value in paying for support.

Without TAC, which is where we are now, why not buy Arista?

TAC was the respected differentiator for Cisco to charge higher prices. Now umm good luck.

TAC was dismantled by the likes of MM and TS and hopelessly underfunded. Of course they will be impacted because a good TAC is what Customers really want.

TAC advised my customer to try and turning it off and then back on again, as serious advice. Customer is a CCIE and got all debug and is then confronted with a clown like this. How far the mighty can fall and is the extent to which TAC has been ripped apart to cut costs. Still some good guys in TAC and if you are one of them I salute you.

Cisco TAC and company is run by outsourcing companies. They dangle high cost savings and take all the jobs from USA.

Stop this madness and everyone wake up !! Jobs are all going to Eastern Europe, Asia and Mexico.

Do we still have a TAC? My customers do anything possible to avoid dealing with this outsourced overseas call center, because in their words “we can’t understand them and all they want to do is close the case.” Verbatim.

How far we have fallen.

The last time I contacted Cisco TAC. I was advised that the best luck is for me to solve the problem on my own. From the accent, I am sure the lady was in or from India.

As someone who sees how the different TAC teams perform on a daily basis this is the opposite of what Cisco should do to increase renewals and customer satisfaction.

Mexico is same time zone as USA, and equally cheap as in India for Cisco.

TAC and CX most affected due to dealings with customers and their numbers are reducing because of ARR and lack of day1 deployments.
