Layoffs are Tuesday August 13th and it will be a lot of corporate functions. A bigger round for tech and others will be September 24th and those are the only 2 planned dates. Good luck

Regarding the WARN post - last few times WARN was posted NY the day of or day after - you can see from Feb Warn Notice - Notice Date- and if you are told to leave by end of week and not given "notice"
I believe this means at least 90 days of severance is required -if that's less than what is offered - someone may know better than me though. I wad told this by a Feb laid off co worker
But there haven't been any new WARN notices when looking at "Paramount Global" in NY and CA re: September 2024 layoffs. Shouldn't it be announced somewhere as per WARN regulations, or am I looking in the wrong place?
As for marketing teams. It's streaming and corp marketing teams mainly (think 50%+). There are a few people in cbs, MTV and studies, but the main layoffs are in corp and streaming. The corp ones will probably go next week and streaming in Sept round

I was laid off in February. If you get an email from your manager with "catch-up" or "touch base" or anything like that then you are being let go. It was tough to not tell him to go F himself when I joined the call because he was a cr-ppy manager. Just start updating your resume and start looking now.
99% of the time, the suspicious or unexpected calendar appointment is the give away you'll be laid off. Though the invite usually comes the morning of (or late the night before.)

Has anyone else received a suspicious calendar appointment on Tuesday the 13th? I may just be reading into things that aren’t there but it seems shady. Fearing the worst, hoping for the best.
