I resent when people cherry pick research results. Studies suggest there is a gap between Tesla and NonTesla buyers in willingness to repurchase an EV, yet some infer most consumers will behave like a Tesla buyer. If we can't deal in facts, it is a choice.

Jim, unlike you, we're not worth 8+ figures on retirement. Please consider how you have, quite literally, f-c#ed the company as a whole.

An even higher percentage of Ford employees think that the is company is better off without Farley.

Wait a sec.
"The resale value of the Tesla Model 3 after one year of ownership, according to CarEdge, is only 64.38% of its purchase price."

A big factor is after 4-5 years, battery cell failures pop up and do not go away. That makes a 5 year old car not worth the cost of a new pack. Even if it has low mileage. Oopsie. Trade in value to support the pull from secondary and tertiary owners/buyers is nil in this game. NIL. 5 years old and you have a yard ornament or junk. The economics don't work on the back side. Let alone all the other stuff. WTF world are we living in?

Especially when we have no idea the longevity of the batteries Ford is using...at least with Tesla there is a large sample of historical data.

I changed home insurance and the agent asked me if I owned E products. Because they are a risk for a fire.

Don't forget the other bennies. Installing a $5k level 2 charger so you can reliably recharge, figuring the odds against the statistical thermal event, considering the vehicle junk after 5 years because the intermittent cell failures will crush your range down so far you'll be taking the bus any way. Yeah, brilliant. I can see how half of our customers are down with that enormous improvement in their mobility choice.
