Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

W-blower revelations reflects what TIAA turned into a while ago

I mean I don’t see why people are surprised. How you treat your employees aligns with how you do all of the other things that no one sees. Like how you take care of your clients, how trustworthy you are, how you run your business.

When the company began gaslighting us a few years ago after T came in, we should’ve known other things behind the scenes were getting the same poor treatment.

Well said, @znq+1tR5F9VK.

But we won a Best Company for Caregivers Award!

Imagine what’s going to happen when this lack of compassion continues to spread to our clients who are definitely in similar situations. T will ruin this company and over 100 years of progress and it will take decades to repair what she’s done if the company survives.

I’m sorry that the company was so heartless to your situation.

And I will never forgive or forget that. Cruel. Horrible.

100% True story. When I was brand new WMA in my second phase of training in Charlotte, my younger sister had a seizure and was in a Coma she wasn't going to come out of. It happened on a Tuesday in November. My family was going to pull the plug on Friday. I asked my Director if I could leave training in Charlotte. He said "While I cannot tell you "No", you cannot start production in January as planned. You'd have to wait for the next training class in March. That would leave you from April until October to make your annual goal because I don't have the authority to adjust your goal downward." That absolutely 100% happened.
