Or if it’s even possible now to change the course? The way things have been for a while is a dead-end. We can expect nothing but for Medtronic to continue downwards and for us, employees, to be in a constant fear of layoffs. I was so happy when they took me on a couple of years ago. Now I think it was one of the worst things that happened to me.

It needs to start with new leadership - CEO and all of Excom. Bad things happen to great companies, look at GE, Intel, Boeing and anybody remember Sun Microsystems? The only way to reverse this is get new leaders!! Wake up BOD!!
Focus on innovating instead of wining and dining surgeons.
Maybe something important was discussed at today’s ExComm meeting. New CEO?
Medtronic is allergic to organic growth. The leaders would rather cut cost everywhere to make their golden parachute bigger.
We keep bailing water as the boat takes on more and more water slowly sinking while telling the world everything is just peachy.
the company needs to priortize growth over cost cutting and growing the dividend.
The downward spiral will continue until Martha takes his golden parachute.
