Aig stocks value plummeted... It happened also to many other companies but I wonder If ours will ever recover. We are spending every penny we gain in stocks buyback instead that on investiments on people or business... I wonder for how long the ship can stay afloat without experienced sailors doing the actual work. For now I'm staying because I honestly didn't find another decent alternative. until I stay here I'm doing my work without sweating but also without failing or lagging behind, however I'm on active search. I'm really worried on how many senior managers are leaving recently...with no replacement!!

Corebridge financial CIO preference has been always his former MetLife colleagues. He has built a strategic network of former useless MetLife employees in key positions under him. Any new positions applicants have to go through this losing su-kers. Any old employee talking openly gets added to the laid off list and the position is replaced with a MetLife candidate. Be careful when you apply to this company. The CEO looks like a buttlehead to the CIO.

A lot of companies do this so this isn’t new. It is painful to manage out a low performer so if a manager is able to RIF the person instead, it saves a lot of headache and time for all involved.
