Watching the Astros last night, you can’t help but notice all the P66 Shields in the Diamond Seats. Has that spend resulted in one sale at the pump? Unlikely. Those seats are nothing but a luxury for the ELT, as are Gulstream 650 corporate jets and Stony Island. When will the Board of Directors exercise their fiduciary duties to all shareholders and demand some positive change??

Largess like this is extremely tone deaf when we cannot get basic needs met because of the unrealistic cuts.
There will be a real face-plant this year - I don’t know what or where, but the cuts have not been done with appropriate care, and work has not been eliminated to support the cuts. This balance wont last without leaving a mark. My hope is it is a small one that alerts us to correct course.

Let’s be honest. It’s a race to the bottom for our industry. Our brands have no value. The faster we realize that the faster we make money.
How bout a United way auction for a free round of golf at the Stoney?

While we out in the field are expected to save every last dollar, the ELT is pampering itself with luxuries.
How about they show some leadership for once and give up some of their self serving perks? Start with the high dollar sporting events seats and Stony Island.
