I can’t for the life of me understand how the entire day went by with no word from our CEO. If she wanted to hide behind the keyboard and send an email that’s fine although I would’ve appreciated a companywide zoom call. but nothing. unbelievable. if you give nothing, you get nothing.

I have worked my a-s off in this great org and always underpaid, always given the maybe next year speech even though I did the work of a 5 and got a 3. Always watching someone else get promoted before me because let’s face it there are promotions given out like candy to certain people. I have worked during time off, I have rearranged vacation time for bullsh-t meetings, I have held the line many a time and still my paper is not right no matter what I do and how much I give. I have watched people be hired from the outside for the same job I do, and earning 30% more than me. So when my CEO is at the friggin Olympics and showing once again no interest in this company and gets paid all the $$$$ that should be going to retain employees, hire employees, or maybe giving real $$ promotions instead of DRY promotions it pi---s me the he-l off.
As she enjoys her vacation, Wealth, Marketing and Digital continue to have their teams travel for "strategy offsite meetings" What happened to the travel restrictions and managing expenses/costs. And, hire consulting firms ($$) ...
Side note -- I was lucky to attend the recent Wealth offsite where a senior leader got pretty drunk...and of course, others joined the frat party and got trashed.
In dark private office, HR, legal and finance are planning to quietly lay off teams (see recent reorgs of marketing and HR teams) I bet they drafting bullets to announce, no pay increases and low bonus pool. (please read the NBC article that clearly states the $1million pay increase T received as well as the EC comp == it's a T thing)....
I think you’re underestimating how much people make at this company at the director and above level. Even Sr. Mgr/8IC level depending on the department. Why do you think so many people don’t leave here and have stayed during this mess?
