Great that you can hire someone to do your technical interviews and then you are’ the one to show up for the job. Saw a guy fired for being an imposter in the middle of a zoom call.
So you only started to care about offshoring when it came for your job? Didn’t care about manufacturing going offshore when it meant lower cost goods at the dealership, but box store, or Walmart?
The Execs and Wall Street won’t care about offshoring white collar jobs until doing so starts to impact their bottom line. Until or unless it’s more expensive to offshore, don’t expect the offshoring to do slow down or stop.
This is the American Dream folks. What are you all morning about? Them haves that are capitalising on the capitalist ideology are living it. Are you suggesting that the majority are being sc--wed and are unable to achieve the American Dream?

You have options:
- Unionize (low-hanging fruit, sort of).
- Stronger labor protections (requires you to vote for candidates who are generally left-leaning, which most of you don’t seem to like).
- Targeted litigation (most expensive, least efficient, least likely to succeed).
- Move to another country (one with strong labor protections).
- Start your own business.
What I wouldn’t do is sit around and wait for the executive class to see the errors of its ways.

Ameucan employees are too expensive. Check out where you rank on global salaries. You are not competitive until you start offering extra value. This is called capitalism...which I expect 98% of you vote for either directly or indirectly.

Lower your Salary by 10x. then they will not offshore
I'm not a fan of government policies but you'd think they should get involved in putting in place measures that would keep corps from doing so. After all, the tax base in the US is disappearing......
If you want to keep your job, the answer is simple.
Move offshore.
