Has anyone had luck with moving the dates of their Connect Week? Can we request a different week?

It’s impossible. We’re assigned connect weeks with groups we never actually work with and literally don’t know 99% of the people outside our small team. However the actual business we support is on a completely different schedule. Nobody seems to care how impractical this is. HR makes it seem like we will get fired if we show up for days during a different week instead of our own, even if it’s more logical. I don’t get it and it’s extremely frustrating.
I’m hearing you say you have asymptomatic COVID and out of abundance of caution you want to work from home during your regularly scheduled Connect Week and make those days in a subsequent week. Great conversation to have with your manager!
so you're saying you don't want to dynamically work with your team and connect with them and synergize and collaborate and feel so energized when you go home?
If something comes up, just leave early and work rest of day from home.
Just do what the contractors do and bring your 5 kids to work with you.
connect week is far more important than your family
I get it, I’m being forced to go in, I’ll go. I need the health insurance. But, I want to move my week because of after school care options. I asked my manger and they told me to use the Fid resources, which is a child care center that my daughter is too old for. Ridiculous.
no, we must maintain the spirit and honor of connect week, there shall be no exceptions, this is how we do business
