Is Baker Hughes filled with good-for-nothing Minecraft warriors? I received an offer and was considering joining, but then I saw a message from someone who got fired after 20+ years. Two others commented right below, saying this is what happens when you hire guys from India with fake degrees. If someone from a third-world country with fake degrees can simply replace you, what does that say about the qualifications of the guy with 20+ years at Baker, what was he even doing there? I genuinely question his skill set. Is this the general sentiment inside Baker? People sitting around, doing nothing for 20+ years, and complaining about others? I don’t want to get into that. I’m someone who enjoys getting things done, learning new things, and taking on new challenges.

Did they get sh-t bag Lee Hugh AKA Shark teeth At Emmot Rd.?
This is typical for any big company. IMHO Baker is much better than both Halliburton and Schlumberger. If you are looking for a place where everybody is delivering near 100% and no old men lurking for 20+ years you should work at a startup with 5 employees. The best scenario for a fresh graduate probably spend up to 10 years at a giant like Baker and if you stuck as some Engineer II switch to a startup to be their know-all-guru.
There seems to be a lot of negativity around. As a former baker, I’m rather curious to know what’s happening. Could someone explain?
Fingers crossed you’ll be next. You might as well apply for some call centers with your 20+ years of skill set, though I doubt even they would want someone like you. It’s funny, you assumed I’m from India. What an oil hole you are! 😂
