Hope everyone who answered the culture survey from McKinsey (the one that WASN’T anonymous) “appropriately” if they want to keep their jobs!

CVX always offers severance unless you are fired for cause. It might not be as generous as in times past (I have no idea), but it will be more than nothing.

I am hearing that unless it is a company wide layoff, CVX will not offer severance packages. Just announce at SETH MKW, quit having us walk around with nooses around our necks! Not very fun bruh! Let the cat out of the bag.

Enterprise leading performance is coming for you IT people. If you think agile project management skills can save you, think again. There are many engineers who know the business and can run your silly scrum meetings. If you have no real hard skills, start preparing for the inevitable. Braun has been asking you to learn new skills for 5-6 years. Too late to learn now.

Everyone in the main campus in San Ramon will be laid off if they don't move to Houston. Thank Mike Wirth for our employee centric culture.

The big brains upstairs think we can be world class in AI using Indian bot farms paying them a bag of rice a week--hows that working for SLB and Delfi? Seems like we could have just not funded 5 years of a failed "digital scholar" program and used some of that money to hire experienced people to replace our outdated leadership in IT, instead we got the vagabond car guy who is still living in the 2000s pre-cloud IT world.

It's okay though, generative AI will save us and we can hire more petroleum engineers to use copilot to push their rubber stamp approval through our "factories" where we "competitively" perform by constantly trying to copy everyone else and learning absolutely nothing, only for one of MCK/BCG/ACB to come up with a new goal post to move.

I am very excited for another campaign slogan that looks to emphasize more digital brain rot.
