It is a stupid question. Why would the fact that it’s midyear have any bearing on anything? I could see why the OP is getting PIPed.
Well, Dave Calhoun, Boeing's CEO never received a midyear PIPed. So, when he becomes Ford's new CEO on September 1st, why would Calhoun allow Ford employees to be PIPed at midyear?? There is no upside to that.
