Is it true they are coming for another 500 jobs on the top of those 1000? Jesus, they really think this will solve problems which are running deep? It's a quick fix that will only create more problems later.

You're right about PD's goals and you're also right to ask who would buy. I mean Genesys and Talkdesk have had their tin cups rattling for years with no takers and they're better assets than Avaya.
LO has proved to the only source of truth pertaining to Avaya. Having monitored it for almost 1 year now, the far majority of leaks/tips here turned out to be true. So to answer the question of the post, yes: 500+ more redundancies will happen very soon, mostly in parts of Europe not affected in yesterday’s layoffs. I would bet one of the European based VPs will be let go, Andrea or Steve.

Looks like PD last gig took 5 months for the sale to be announced. I'm guessing it will be quicker this time around. only question i have is who are potential buyers and will what's left be sold as a pkg or in pieces?
