I’m surprised, but not really considering the source, that Wayfair is charging employees for PTO over something that was completely unforeseen and out of everybody’s control. It wasn’t only a problem at Wayfair, it was a problem everywhere all over the freaking world. When will we ever stop being penalized? That’s right, never.
Email ITHelp@wayfair.com if you still can’t get on. They need the asset name from your computer and your phone number. The asset name is a sticker either on the lid of your laptop or hard drive box if you have an older model with the two screens. An IT rep will call you back and walk you through the steps of the coding that needs to be entered to reboot your computer and bring you back online. As far as pay for time missed, I’m not sure what will happen but reach out to supervisor an enter a WFM Ticket.
I couldnt get on again today, I have lost out on 2 days pay and Im out of PTO.
My coworker clocked in on her cell when her computer was down and her manager took away the days pay in Workday. She said it was time theft and you have to use PTO.
I can’t get on this morning.
Yes I still cant get back on. I was told to clock in on my phone so I would get paid for today. It was awesome to get the day off work and get full pay for it.
Mine still hasn’t.
