Thread regarding Wayfair Inc. layoffs

Where did the “JR EXEC”?

Wasn’t there a “jr Executive” that claimed 100% today was the day including themselves. Where are you? So what happened to your “for sure” lay off for today? Anyone know anything about the potential of the 28th? You think they avoided today because people were expecting it? Or do we think it is all a “rumor” as leadership is claiming

Transparent and truthful? You're giving 100%...and they want to squeeze that performance out of you up until the very end. Do yourself a huge favor and look for another job. Put 100% into that action so you can stop worrying week after week if you're going to survive another layoff. Be smart and proactive.

Wayfair doesn’t owe us anything? Excuse me but I give my 100% to Wayfair so yea your employer does owe you something and it’s called respect. Respect your employees enough to atleast be transparent and truthful. They know what’s going on and not one person has even attempted to address it. The “wayfair owes you nothing” mentality is not healthy. It’s mutual respect between an employee and employer

Actually companies owe their employees plenty.

There's nothing we can do to prevent a layoff next week or any week in the future, that's the nature of business. If you're worried about job security then be proactive and start job hunting. My advice for your own mental health: Treat rumours as what they are, rumours! Wayfair doesn't owe us anything.

Honestly, it could happen any day. The last one was April 17th, which was a Wednesday. So use that information and plan accordingly.

I don’t know it doesn’t matter. Just go to work or quit. What else can anyone do.
