Layoff Netzer ASAP
I disagree with the “we did this to ourselves” do you work at wayfair? Have you mentally experienced the last week? Saying “oh don’t worry” this is what pays my families bills so yea I am gonna be anxious and yea your right I am going to check sites so I can be prepared mentally if it comes. We have not “done this to ourselves”
It’s definitely the titanic and it’s definitely sinking. The iceberg was hit a long time ago. We’re all just here playing the sad, slow hymns with our string ensembles …

There are no jr executive levels at Wayfair. First clue. Wayfair has never done a big RIF in the summer.
We should be living every day as if it is the only day we have left. No one is in control of anything and all this worrying benefits no one and causes health issues.
Get your plan and resume prepared, which is all around good professional advice. Stop anxiously waiting for a theory to be your reality. You are all better than this.
I hate to play devils advocate as Wayfair has done a lot of cr-p, but you all are doing this to yourself as getting worried and losing sleep over rumors. It is scary and might be best for you to not look at this site if it just causes you anxiety. In all honesty what difference would a days notice of a layoff do for you? Nothing. What you should do is start prepping, lower your spending, start saving, start working on your resume, practice interviewing, and applying to places. After that what come will come.

Frontline senior service- just checked my old emails and January lay off email was sent by Sanjeev and team at 415 am est that said your job was not impacted so it looks like we are past the normal time they send the emails. I am relieved and terrified to do this again next week
Tenured senior service flex NA- no email we got through the first rumored day so now we do this again next week
The last silent layoff was at 9 with no email. They were pulled into a meeting and let go.
I know people said this was posted on blind but a part of me always wants to believe that maybe it’s just a malicious ex or current employee mad at W and want to cause chaos and pandemonium. I guess that’s just being hopeful it’s false every time it comes up. We shall see.
wouldn't be surprised if this was a planted story by seniors, to now show us 'see we told you we won't have more riffs'
Last emails we have gotten in the past came in at 6am cst my time !
I kept every email from the layoffs since 2020 they sent the first one at 7am Est and the next follow up is at 7:15. So either they aren’t happing this Friday and we have to do this next week, or it’s a small enough layoff that only the department that would be leaving got one. Rumor was about frontline. Frontline has all said they didn’t get an email.
The emails don’t come out until 8- 8:15 EST it is only 7:45 EST

EU specialized have not received anything either, not even 'safe' email. So could be next week or maybe only NA effected.
EU Customer Service appears to in the clear from L1 upwards
