No their CEO has been telling investors and reporters that his company won’t become a failure like Cisco. Look it up, it’s all over the news.

CSCO is irretrievably lost. The inertia contained in the death spiral can’t and won't be changed — maybe spread out a couple more years at best. The tragedy is that many good people will cling on to the bitter end thus creating a resume’ that indicates lack of objectivity when faced with clear loud facts.

Cisco should not be uttered in the same sentence as Nvidia, Microsoft or Apple. Cisco is a legacy network business that has lost its way. Those three could buy Cisco with change down the back of the couch if they wanted. But they don't and never will want to play in this commoditised, competitive teeny-weeny plumbing market. You see, whereas Cisco talks a lot about AI, others actually get on and do it. The market cap does not lie. It tells you everything, a lot more than Chuck strutting around on stage as if he were a great visionary.

I could see NVIDIA trying to buy Acadia from Cisco.

Not true. They will probably attempt to buy HPE after the juniper acquisition completes, though.

It might be blocked by regulators but perhaps not. They could buy Cisco with just the market cap they added in the past ten day but still would not.

NVDA will closed down CSCO after buying it, this is the power of true tech company such as NVDA ability of getting rid of toxic poison CSCO from the field of TECH.

CSCO is a waste of space in tech.

Ok, not sure why I am responding to clearly a click bait post, so more fool me. Anyway, Full disclosure I have no idea what is Cisco or Nvidia corp dev strategy is. But my non important take is the only thing of interest to Nvidia is Ciscos book of business. Everything will be ditched or sold off cheaply, including all staff….

Why should NVIDIA buy an overpriced company who is only able to increase profit per share with layoffs and where nepotism rules in so many areas?

Bad move for Nvidia, but good to replace Chuck and SLT who is stuck in the layoff culture of thinking.

Nvidia's CFO used to work at Cisco. There is no way she'd spend Nvidia's money on this sinking ship.
