it being said that the plan to execute this particular round of layoffs is mid July.

the performance reviews are due July 5th, unless they extend the deadline.

In practical terms it means : you will get your performance review BEFORE the layoffs take place. if you receive a 1 or a 2 as your rating....your name is pretty much guaranteed to be in the layoff list. Start saying your goodbyes.

that is as much advanced warning as you could possibly get.

take care people, its tough out there.

Man this company is something else.

CEO says we are doing awesome. Landing new clients and delivering our promises. Making money.

But reality is that we are losing more than we are gaining in clients. We are mismanaging our money and are operating in the red. We are having mass layoffs constantly. Nearly every account is missing SLAs and on a CAP. Outsourcing to India is ramping up. Every employee is in danger of getting laid off. Leadership is inept and a laughing stock. The town halls are entertaining because they are all lies and misdirection. The leaders at all levels can’t manage what they are supposed to. The company is constantly restructuring. They are constantly hiring senior leaders.

What a wreck of a company.

Don’t drink the koolaid. Keep your head out of the sand. Just look around and pay attention. Things are not good. And they are going to get worse.

I can confirm, my department has been asked for names a couple of hours ago, this seems to be last minute. it could be related to the merit still not being approved, but this is just speculation on my part, I have no hard evidence of it being related or not.

I talked to people in other departments and they confirm the same, they got asked for names too.

under performers are the natural candidates, at least in paper, anybody rated as a 1 or a 2, is a natural candidate, but in al honesty, the request was "give us names", no guidelines.

Take care people, more rough times ahead.

Having a beer on company time.

It’s all we can do now. Drink and roast weiners on the flames of Gainwell as it goes down.

Another sales member here.

I agree with previous posts about how we are told to be very deceptive and do whatever it takes to get the sale. Lie and cheat.

This behavior long term cannot continue or the company will fail. I don’t see any long term viability of Gainwell if this continues.

And offshoring is snuck into the contracts intentionally now. It is worded in such a way that they sign off on allowing it to happen.

We are all in trouble if we stay employed with Gainwell Technologies. This is a fact you have to accept if you choose to stay working for them.

I agree. I can’t think of one good thing to say about Gainwell or the leaders of the company.

Not even one thing.

How can anyone honestly defend Gainwell?

This company is out to get all of our jobs. Offshore them and fire all of us in the US. And if you put in your time and work hard then you are probably making too much money and are a cost to the company so you will be laid off. Not to mention how we are all treated while working here.

Any new hire that starts clearly didn’t do their research on this company.

“ When people, including my family, ask me where I work I lie to them. No way I can admit I work for Gainwell.”

Good Lord 99.99% of people have no clue that Gainwell even exists.

To the person that said - Bunch of Indian bots and disgruntled US slackers in here expecting a silver spoon.

What world do you live in? Look around a little bit. Gainwell is exactly what people in here are saying it is. Get your head out of the sand.

Get a life, do better.

I bet you're either one of those project managers who can't seem to manage Gainwell is built on the foundation of bad project managers.

I agree with Gene 100%. When people, including my family, ask me where I work I lie to them. No way I can admit I work for Gainwell.

Gainwell is bottom of the barrel.

I agree.

I go to work. Do the bare minimum. Leave on time every single day. I refuse to give any more effort than that. Some days I do nothing at all. And the number of do nothing days is increasing.

I don’t want to make friends with anyone working for Gainwell. I don’t want to talk to anyone at Gainwell unless I have to.

This company is one of the worst companies to work for in the US.

They don’t care about me so I certainly don’t care about them. I don’t want anything to do with any Gainwell employees.

I don’t even want to admit to my circle of friends and family that I work for Gainwell. It’s an embarrassment. Anyone with half a brain would wonder why in the world I would work for them. Heck even I wonder that sometimes.

What a disgrace of a company.

I go to work, keep my nose down. Get the job done and get out as soon as it's quitting time.

If I felt that my current job was actually career. Then maybe I'd feel better. But when you're hired in on a lie. It's hard to feel any type of pride in what you do.

Can anyone honestly say anything positive about Gainwell? I sure can’t. The place is a dump. How much longer can they fool all those states?

My manager and supervisors have no actual hands-on experience for the area they supposedly manage. For that very reason, instead of working to advance us and take advantage of our skillsets. They work tirelessly to dump us down in order to secure their own positions within the company.

Give them a task that might actually help us to be more of a technical asset. They'll gold-brick it and tell you that they're working on it. While they actually doing the opposite.

Due to my own ethics, I go to work and do the tasks delegated to me, to the best of my ability. Lord knows my manager/supervisors have no ethics. Unless being a master BS'er can be considered a skill.

They can keep whatever merit increase they plan to give to me. It can be used to replace that awful 'Genius' information share. It maybe okay for a administrative repository, but not for a technical one.

Yay no raise! And maybe the boot.

Thank you so much Gainwell.

I can’t believe people choose to stay working for Gainwell. Why? So many issues. So much turmoil. On such unstable ground. Such poor leadership. So poorly ran.

This company won’t have to worry about laying off when so many people will be leaving the company once they discover they won’t get a raise or if they get one a mere 2%. Believe it or not that are alot of leaders who are against the shady practices. The compensation is already so low they are doing anything to save costs and leaders are MAD! Your best bet is to put in work looking for another job because they clearly do not care.

Gainwell is a cesspool of id--ts at the top. They search far and wide for the caliber of id--t that they have found. They have been able to assemble a world class team of id--ts. And it continues to be refined by stupid decisions. There is no other company that has reached this level of idiocy. Quite remarkable to watch it take place. More and more senior leaders of this caliber are being added. And less and less bottom rung employees with experience and actual know how are being eliminated.

It’s an amazing transformation.

Layoffs are never performance based. Meanwhile they are hiring vp/svp’s left and right from places like McKinsey so you know they are way over paid.
