We hired new employees and trained them up for WFT, HAL, NOV, etc. Why not the other way around? Is it because we are severely underpaid?

I left BH because of the culture of the blind being led by the blind, deaf and mute attitudes that ruined it...
Don’t worry about employees or even customers (no travel!) - we have shareholders and margins to consider!!! /s

All too common when leaders put personal greed in front of dedication to exceptionalism!
Want to return to exceptionalism? Change leadership back to individuals having passion for exceptionalism and not ones boosting their own pocket books and those of their inner circle.
Culture/training/processes have been wrecked ever since the HAL tie up. GE leftovers keep trying to rebuild their cult through a thousand self serving committees and initiatives, paying no attention to the people getting stuff done. Run your race!
