Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Are you kidding me? They're doing another CEO club next year?

The amount of layoffs, operational shutdowns, sell offs, etc., and they somehow have enough money to party in mexico again next year? Who is kidding who here?

Print IT, or Compute IT?

There were only 8 of the latter out of 368 folks that were included in the final rankings.

The top IT Compute rep delivered $30M in 2023, so there may be an issue with the "type" of IT you're identifying as "popular."

I saw an IT guy who has never delivered anything, ever, in Mexico. Popularity contest.

Puerto Rico, not Mexico.

They announced it while we were in Mexico. It's in June and includes a couple of weekend days.

for 2023, there were almost no updates for the sales org on "stack rankings" and when they did come out, there were sales positions that were completely grouped in the wrong categories. There were sales positions at 200%++ of plan that did not earn the trip and others just over plan that went. Go figure. Tons of HQ staff went, how did 2 or 3 out of 5 or 6 in a position category make the trip? Our SVP even said last year was a blank-show and that he hoped this year would be better

March 20, 2020 xrx @ $16.45 Today? Xrx @ $13.78 - xerox was doing better in Covid and lock down with no ceo club! What a joke. Report immediately to the dividend.

At least Sanjay probably has a master’s degree. I could tell most of you didn’t even make it past high school. English is a second language for them. What is your excuse?

Showing again why either you’ve been fired or should be on the next round of layoffs. “Buy American” does not equal Japan either mor@n. Sorry it went over your little itty bitty head. Maybe you should use that American-made map you own and wipe your little tush with it. It’s not helping your brain cells either way.

Japanese not Chinese. Take that W2 off the fridge and put up a world map. Change the baking soda too while you’re at it. Today xeroids gotta multitask.

Now that you figured out he’s not a tech are you going to call Sanjay and cancel that service call? Don’t be a self centered sales rep. Think of all the support people you’re standing on the shoulders of big boy. How you going to flip those lease expiries without the little people?

Then how about YOU go sell those products tough guy. Kinda funny that one minute you’re talking “buy American” and the next minute you want people to sell Japanese products?! Haha wtf? You cant make this stuff up. Yes, even HP print engines are made by Canon. Like i said…stop trying to pretend you’re smart. It’s not a good look on you. I can smell a dum-dum a mile away, especially one that flip flops within the hour.

HP, Canon, Ricoh… lots of alternatives to a product whose parent company hasn’t been flagged by DHS.

Yawnnn….if you’re not a salesperson in general, why would you assume to know anything? Haha. At the end of the year, your W-2 is what matters. That’s it. I don’t need to deal with small time transactions which are most often a pain anyway. Sell smarter, not harder…but then again you wouldn’t know like I said. Go back into your basement please or go get your shinebox! Stop pretending you’re smart.

Oh come now. You wouldn’t sell a fleet of A4? Maybe bundle a few into your BIG machine deals for some SPIFs? Not much of a sales rep leaving cash on the table. Or maybe you do have conscience… nah, you just lazy flippin’ boxes.

Endofthedaywithray called and he wants his episode back. Haha. Now I know you’re a boomer. The “buy American “ slogan has been dead for years. The world adapts, deal with it. Almost nothing is 100% built in America in this day and age…and if it is, none of you peons could afford it anyway and will just complain that it is too expensive. Call me when you’re a business owner and start making your own products.

Lol. Maybe Temu will buy xerox? You don’t buy American? Come on, Xerox tried to (HP) but all they got is pocket change. Now they pi-p for China.

Oh, so you’re just a mor@n then? My bad! I think I gave you the benefit of doubt of being a tech. Haha. And you’re partially right, I don’t deal with the small fry machines. I’m too busy raking in the dough selling the larger units. Keep staying jealous. It only makes me laugh.

Not a tech. Most anyone who has actually used or seen a xerox (Lexmark) A4 mfp can easily discern. You must be a sales rep. Thanks for conceding re top heavy and fragility.

Oh man, that was a sick burn! Very cute that you follow endofthedaywithRay and then try to spin them as your own thoughts. Stop pretending you’re smart. No customer gives a cr@p about ninestar. You must be a boomer that refuses to load TikTok or Temu on your phone too because of communist China. The average person doesn’t care.

Aww you must’ve been a little bitty tech if you worked on B605s. That’s cute. Did you work on 315s as well? Did they trust you in the past on 4265s? Good boy! Who’s a good boy…you are!

About 99% of the trolls who post on here don’t even work for Xerox still, so who gives a flying F what their opinion is about CEO Club. Outside of a handful of people with a brain, the rest were rightfully let go or they quit anyway. Stop obsessing about Xerox is doing.

Sales reps at the company formerly known as xerox desperately need their egos stroked with glass hardware and trips to make them feel special. Without baldy club where would they get their confidence from… the product?

I’m ok with CEO club, raises, new company cars, laptops, phones, etc. Whatever it takes to keep this business going with those who are left.
In my position I deal with other companies who sell and service our machines and I see how our competitors perform.
Despite a shrinking market and stiff coopetition we are by far the best. It’s not even close.

"So sales reps shouldn’t be incentivized to sell?"

Do you think the money for that trip comes from you? That's funny. Sales reps are incentivized to sell, it's your paycheck. They don't only take sales reps on that trip you know, guess you haven't been on it.

So sales reps shouldn’t be incentivized to sell? Repping xerox (Lexmark) is harder and more demeaning than ever. Besides, it’s only Mexico.
