What a joke. Got an email today that my July 5th request was cancelled. Reason I got from my manager is because of staffing. She is still taking the full week off, no questions asked. Is there a single leader that is willing to lead by example? Take a fu--ing phone call during a busy day. I don’t need your encouraging memes and $20 door dash credit.

These shtty managers are common at Schwab. If they saw this post, they probably would be proud of this behavior. The fact that they can manipulate your personal life and not just your professional one. Probably joking about you with their "friends" (assuming they have any) and their other shtty colleagues.
This is their way of leading by example. The fine example at Schwab. Just imagine how they treat their clients. The messed up data in the system was probably intentional to scr3w with their clients.
Manager of the OP here. I know exactly who this is, and will be dealt with accordingly after I return to the office. Have a great day off tomorrow!
Mine too. My manager is going on vacation for 2 weeks. She told I can go after she comes back. My kids will miss the 4th of july fireworks this year. What a shame.
Is this happening for real??
What a horrible person. Very selfish and petty. Makes you wonder the criteria for promoting people to management. Take a picture of the email in case you need to file a complaint.
Brave post
Yes, yes … let the toxicity flow through you. You cannot resist the dark side of Schwab !
Are you in STS ops or client facing as an FC? Unusual to have time off requests denied. I used to be in a STS team that did oncall rotation, where we carried a pager (yeah I am that old). But aside from that, we usually plan out the rotations well in advance, so that they don't conflict with vacations. That was just something the team worked out among ourselves. Someone will need to be on rotation during a holiday, but we make sure it was spread out.
It’s a shame that you’re going to catch a cold on the fifth. Cough. Cough.
Give comment Specific enough which can expose the r-ats.
And General enough no, one trace back to you.
This is so specific that if your manager browses this site, you will be found out.
