We should move all Executive positions to India. We could pay for an entire Board of Directors in India for less that the cost a one CL28 in America.

Upstream CL 28, mid-career and high ranking is ~$335k

CL pay curves vary as per ranking and business line.

CL29 Downstream is paid much less that CL 29 Upstream.

To the Pioneer poster below. Exxon had to offer higher sale ranges due to the older people in Pioneer vs our typical advancement guide… It means you’ll have no near term raises and are more likely to be assessed out in years to come.

Seriously… do not take the bait to reconfigure your life

Breaking News: Geoscientist has head buried in the ground and doesn’t know there are many different salary curves and that not everyone will have the same salary range they do, even at the same CL.

Tune in tonight at 9 for more!

$300,000-$350,000 or more, geoscience Houston (two years ago). Funny to see posts from clueless people who have no personal experience but extrapolate shamelessly their limited knowledge.

CL max out at 26 in India. It’s a low cost low skill factory.

No such thing as a long time CL 28 making $300k. If they were any good, they would eventually get CL 29 and move to the next pay scale. Anyone long time in CL 28 will be at bottom of ranking and would be PIP’d or at best frozen until inflation takes them to the lower half of the CL 28 salary band, despite their high YEE.

Based on the numbers below, a CL 28 in India is paid 25% of the same level in the USA.

So the Indian CL 28 can do a task, the have to redo/correct that work two more times, and is still cheaper that the USA counterpart.

The economics seem sound with this course of action but when there are no more expensive ESA CL28s to recognize the errors, then the rework never gets done, and the errored design gets built.

Seems like a root cause waiting to cause an incident.

CL 27 here at $255k and 200RSUs annually
