To the Linn County Board of Supervisors,DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON A LETTER TO HYVEE.THEY DO NOT CARE THAT THAT AREA WILL BE A FOOD DESERT.They didn't care about laying off and firing many long term employees a few years ago they certainly don't care about the customers they will effect that go to that store. They used to care about customers, not any more. The helpful smile is long gone. The hyvee founders are rolling over in their graves the way the company is being run.

It's not a food bank, for crying out loud. Now Hy-Vee is bending over backward to ease the transition for the dozen or so who are truly affected. Not to mention the thieves.
Corporate Hyvee doesn't care,THATS THE BOTTOM LINE.323
I am actually working at one of the stores that's closing and I can say with 100 percent certainty that the employees are hurting as well as the customers but since Jeremy and triple chin don't seem to give 2 f***s about it I guess it doesn't matter. It's so sad really.
It's not just the customer that are hurting, think of all those employees. It's hard to move when you care about a store. Sure, they get offered jobs but the stores that pick those employees up are already working with a limited amount of hours. Some employees have to move to other stores to make room for the new ones. This won't just hurt one store. A move like this, we all feel it.
