What are you hoping from Maryann Mannen? Specific policy or direction changes?

There’ll be a lot of changes. Tim will stay with us in refining. But I’d say his two VPs are fair game for moves or retirements. I also think you’ll see some not so great GMs moved around to other jobs this summer. Some of the GM moves will surprise is my guess. These are much needed changes.
It’s easy to blame Aydt, but all the people who have let us down were his predecessors picks. And everyone knows it.
Who thinks the headquarters will move to Houston when Maryann takes over?
No one who knows anything was surprised when Aydt got the refining job. MH continuing to run GVL into the ground is a little surprising
Why so sure Partee is out, what did that guy do (or not do)? I am
Low on the totem poll so I know nothing about the ELT for the most part. I do know there was plenty of folks surprised when Tim aydt got the big VP job but I don’t think refining’s issues are all on him. I look to the individual refinery leaders and one of the VPs, namely the one over the disaster that is Martinez and the other that’s Garyville. The flagship is no longer the place it once was culturally or morale wise and the fact that they’ve kept the GM and the VP over all this is surprising. My two cents
Agree Partee will be replaced by external hire - likely based in Houston
there are only 2 kinds of people. givers or takers. takers press numbers/risk safety to receive a bonus and fill their own pockets, to the toilet with anyone else. givers actually care for others and pave the way so all can succeed together both company and employees. takes about 6 months or so for it come into view for all to see.
Not too much. Henn really hurt the company through all this cost cutting and obsession with earnings. Once a company goes cheap, it’s hard to change the culture to spend again (for important things that is). Profit over safety/morale/image was his big “achievement”. He’s hurt a lot of people through incidents and layoffs/cutbacks. Hopefully he has a short retirement:)
Hoping she will sniff out the little Bubba clubs that prevent a fair and equal workplace at times. It is good to have both women and men in top positions and rotate. She likely will be paddling uphill at first and not just freely given what a man would normally receive in advise/help but she has grit obviously. High expectations she could raise moral of all and therefore raise production/revenue.
expect some leader changes. Sleepy Aydt will be out…safety record is awful. Partee is failure. And probably others. She can do well with some needed changes
Henni gave us stock buybacks and weed.
What more could you want?
Raises? Ridiculous!
Move OH folks to new Houston headquarters??
Nothing.
I wouldn't expect significant changes... Hennigan is still chairman, and he hand picked Mannen
