What does it take to get fired around here? It seems to more incompetent you are, the less likely you are to be fired (I suppose due to risk of those people being more likely to bring a lawsuit. . .speculating). With that being said, are there any concrete examples of people being fired? In my 12 years here, I have only seen people 'laid off' during large scale events, but never an individual fired as a one-off. What will get you escorted out? Is it only fraud events or do people get walked out for performance ever?

Actually, if you have a mental health crisis and you need support, they might call you unprofessional and terminate your employment.
It has to be documentable theft. It was a long time ago, but the IA manager and his girlfriend were fired for cheating on his ExPat benefits. If you are SGL 21+ you are “offered” 3-year severance (yes, three years, different than regular employees capped at 60 weeks) and vesting of all RSU’s and options.
Not fired, but offered the chance to leave. It’s happened to a few people, but only after really bad behavior.
Think using a company card at an oversees br----l.
Ask the last Delaware subsurface manager
Maybe question all the DEI bullhshit that everybody is tired of and see if that works

I too view 'Office Space' as a documentary and not a comedy.
