They never announce furlough’s ahead of time lol they’ll meet you at the time clock when they’re ready.

Allience here, laborers took over our service track last week, just doing fluids, set/release on consists and sending everything from tmlts and up to the shop.

Local management shop supe hasn’t heard anything (Galesburg) but said CMOs will be here tomorrow (Tuesday) to make some announcement. We already had over half the fitter craft cut, I’m guessing they’re not done yet. We all know the fitters days are numbered. They have also doubled the laborer craft in the last 16 months. Rumored they are going to going to a service track ran by laborers with select crafts assisting when needed. Who knows what their “master plan” is..

The big cmo’s are making rounds through the hump yards this week. Starting with Pasco, then north town I believe. Hopefully the MRL merger doesn’t sc--w the shops on either side of their old territory.

That’s typically the sign to start packing, we love y’all, your doing a great job, we would never consider closing this shop, it’s so valuable, then you get the Houston treatment

My productivity was at 176%! What do you mean I’m furloughed!!!!!! Let’s be honest they would be doing us all a huge favor if they spiked the switches on all yards and sent us all packing.

I don’t think BNSF cares about long term impacts as much as short term profits at this point, it’s not like warren buffet is going to outlive most his share holder’s honestly speaking, so now it’s a big cash grab

Well we know this is FAKE NEWS! BNSF is ran by great leaders who trust and value their employees! They would sacrifice themselves before they would affect all those families!

Source please?? Vacation is earned after 110 days for younger workers, 100 days for those with 7 years or more. 20% is very deep and with retirements ahead plus less than 1/2 of furloughed workers coming back, will be a huge impact long term.
