I never heard back (feel like completely ghosted). Is this normal at Ford?

a lot of non-ford recruiters etc ghost people these days too. they'll schedule a zoom meeting and not show up. you'll see.
Typical of Ford management. They really aren't "managers", just baby sitters, and trickle down task assigners.
Good for you! You don’t want to work there anyway.
@OP. A few years ago, I contacted the hiring manager for an open external position listed at Ford careers. I was already working for Ford, so it was easier for me. We talked about my nephew, who had recently finished college in Computer Science, and his application for that position. The manager actually reviewed the resume, but no calls were made, and the position was kept open for several months. At one point I stopped tracking it down, since my nephew was accepted in another company.
I never knew if the company lists positions just to prove "lack of talent" and move the jobs to LCCs. Or if the company expects to hire NA real talent for pennies (We know Ford hires lowsy management for millions of dollars).
My advice for anyone in NA, don't come to work for Ford. For the ones already at Ford, without a pension, find something else. The company is purposely sending jobs overseas, so it is a matter of time before all the NA positions are gone.
Very typical of Ford. You will hear from Ford after 8 weeks.
Yep, it happened to me. Interviewed for a position and never heard until a co-worker got the job. The Company didn't have the decency to tell me that I didn't get it.
Lazy hrs and incmpetent leaders . Maybr you will hear an year from now.
I am looking to get my boss fired. provide suggestions. I am getting tired of the constant nagging and micro management.
It depends how long ago you interviewed. Ford can take a long time to get back to people.
Yes,
it is better to file a charge in EEOC as a deterrence
