When the next round of layoffs comes it’s gonna be brutal for all these new managers.
To align with leadership expectations, the middle manager should exhibit robust micro management skills, effectively suppressing growth and innovation. Additionally, a general lack of direction will leave the team wandering in a fog of uncertainty and confusion.
We can all rest easy knowing Sr Manager workloads have been reduced. Maybe we can hire some ex CVE employees in the middle layer too.
Cenovus is going in the wrong direction. The org looks more inflated. Too much spending on consultants. Smells like a husky epidemic.
definitely lay off workers to manage the g&a but keep all the management consultants
