@1mop+1sqEtgQd is totally right and why Geoff is the greatest CEO in Medtronic history and maybe in the history of publicly traded companies.

Don't forget that while you see your coworkers laid off, settle for 2% raises and are asked to do more with less that Geoff is (financially) engineering the extraordinary despite all the obstacles thrown at him.

From 2020 to 2021, Geoff Martha received a 26% base salary increase from $905,270 to $1,142,308
From 2021 to 2022, Geoff Martha received a 17% base salary increase to $1,345,192
From 2022 to 2023, Geoff Martha received a 0.36% base salary increase to $1,350,000

Look at Geoff leading by example by only taking a 0.36% salary increase last year. So happy to see him embody the Medtronic Mindset!!! Earl would be so proud of him if he were still around!

I am happy, every time one of you gets laid off I get 4 new coworkers in Hyderabad that can actually get things done!

Northridge meeting didnt say a single word about RIF. One person on my team was laid off and nobody has acknowledged it yet.

They tried to frame the fact that we are on a ludicrous pace as only a good thing. I might be new but are these people oblivious to the tenants i thought I should memorize?

"That's probably a meeting to tell them it's all clear or to lay out the strategy for the year."

It's probably both. The strategy for the year is to do more with less and expect another RIF next fiscal year.

Are mass layoffs done in any OUs? A 20 min all hands meeting at 9 AM with hundreds of people on the Zoom invite seems suspect.

Tempe, AZ site was hit today. They won’t provide numbers, names or depts but said it was in the single digits. No idea if this will be continuing throughout the week.

Where are you? If they closed Israel, then they closed Hugo, I think.
