After almost 5 years at Medtronic I was blind sided by being laid off with reduction in work force. I feel bad for my team mates that are left behind. I know how much work is there and they will fall behind. Too bad the CEO can’t get his cr-p together. Funny how he and all the higher ups are able to get these huge raises! Medtronic is failing. It’s going down!

What do you mean by blind-sided? No one get a heads up that their position was going to be impacted.
@2dnv+1spoDLYr is right. Stop complaining on here. Think about the shareholders! Patients' lives don't matter anymore.
@1gex+1spoDLYr yeah but that is the shareholder’s money - you guys work for us.
@1ggf+1spoDLYr -- more so pay the massive dividend this company pays out every quarter, totalling $3.65b annually.
That's way more than executive comp.

You are right. All of these lay offs is to free up cash flow to pay for the executives’ bonuses.
