@wjm+1sp5xpbR The people in 100% remote jobs (ex. Customer Service) are tracked for everything they do. Do you really think this company is relaxed enough to blindly trust remote work in their bottom line? It’s very hard to fake remote work when your manager can pull a hourly report of how much work you have personally done.
Su-ks we have to lose good people as some freeloader ReMoTe workers doesnt want to show up to work and would rather sit at home and do nothing all day
Any word on the department or functions being hit?
I have a friend in R&D for CRM who has meetings later today. The all hands kind.

Also, what (if any) severance was offered?
Full pay, benefits, etc. through July 10th. Full bonus that you would have gotten. PTO will continue to accrue through that time and will be paid out. 2 weeks severance per completed year of service. Medtronic will pay the employer portion of COBRA insurance for I think it was three months after July.
CRM is getting hammered, probably rolling layoffs too
Someone in my group got a goodbye email from someone who was RIFed. I think the affected person was in CRM.
