We are restructuring for a reason. There is still alot of dead weight "hidden" by numbers. We are now going "lean" to compete and continue to build America. It's not just a railroad it's a lifestyle.

Didn't M.S fire you Rex ?
Funny how you say we are going lean to compete . I remember when we were #1 and did it while growing and railroading .
When I was a kid in school, the teacher asked us in class what we wanted to be when we grew up. Bobby said he wanted to be a doctor. Suzy said she wanted to be a pilot. Andy said he wanted to be a police officer. I said I wanted to be a manager at Union Pacific. This was my only goal in life. I seriously can’t do anything else, but there is nothing else I’d rather do.
I bet if managers clocked in and out it would result in less hours than us. I see them leave early alot. And they get TWO 3 day weekends a month. That's 2 additional days off a month over us. Don't act like y'all work longer hours.
Hahaha! Oh the poor manager "works" long hours. You mean you're at work for long hours. Because you all ain't actually doing any work.
Managers are salary. We work long hours. We are allowed to do so. You guys need to realize you run your mouth more than productivity. No wonder they're cutting certain crafts to a bare. Bunch of whiners on here. Must be 9er fans. Boo
We just cut some down here in
LA and I'm glad.
All the do is walk around this yard office here at LATC and complain that they have to go out of town and whine about going to Yermo or Yuma and it's Friday or Saturday night and they want it off.
There goes the agreed 4 and 11 on.
The boards are going to get tight.
Be lucky you guys have a job.
Don't expect the LA to Chicago trains to make 3 days for the new shnieder trucking and ups to last
Cut a bunch of the TE&Y. They can’t seem to get through their day without getting hurt , Running through switches, running over derails, taking their sweet a-s time getting on their train, laying off every holiday, cutting corners and putting the whole company at risk. A bunch of crybaby prima donnas that expect everyone else to jump through hoops all day just to get them through their day. Then to top it all off, they bi--h and complain the most!
Many of these managers have the same brain power as these little radical nuts that are causing all this chaos at these universities. Time to send these people home.
should cut car craft all together. They don't do much anymore anyway
Bunch of cry babies
Wow id LOVE to see management have to clock in and out, the ones I've been around basically come as they please, leave early. Most have company trucks too, lease payments, gas saved. Deff need some cuts.
Yeah, restructuring? The railroad infrastructure is crumbling. Equipment is turning into junk, bridges and other structures are about to fall apart. The track itself, the right of ways, the roads in the yards are just horrible. The only thing getting restructured is the wealth of the elites.
See how much restructuring goes on when this next pay raise comes. Just about guarantee cuts
Restructuring???Then cut all this useless managers you have sleeping in these offices coming in late for their shifts leaving early…Have then clock in and out for their shifts instead of letting them come in whenever they feel like it…
PSR 'profits' are like cutting off your own two good feet and then bragging about all the money you're saving on boots...
Management is dead weight, they can deff take some trimming. It's a Win Win
