Wouldn't hurt to have the lab develop something to sell after all the funding provided last 10 years for the "Nothing Burger"
Invest in sales employees and don't limit their productivity, invest in producers of production because your quality of product matters. Pretty simple logic. When you cut both those things of course your sales are going to su-k. Su-ks to su-k but they deserve it honestly.
I guess the strategy of getting rid of all the knowledge in the company is really paying off!
What a pathetic group of “leaders”
When is the last time 3M had organic growth in sales? NPI that makes reall koney not 3M's song and dance numbers. It has to be more than 2 or 3 years ago or more. Commodity pricing and knock off's ki-ling sales. Digitial marketing, Pete has ruined that. Instead of protecting proprietary technology in automotive let's be loose and outsource even more manufacturing. Run by souless sycophants 3M has become. Why even try or care when management is all about I got mine the rest of you can pi-s off.
They keep cutting production as a way for management to keep their own jobs. A-s backwards approach. We have so many stupid management, hr, trainer and support positions in the plants that should be trimmed yet they keep downsizing with automation or putting more roles on production which burns employees out. No sh-t sales are down. I've seen over 200 employees quit or get fired forcefully in the last 2 years. This place just doesn't understand how to run a company. Someone needs to learn basic street smart approach and fix it.
If we let some more people go, we could then sell the empty building and make some cash. I will take 1000 stock options for that idea. GENIUS!!
