Exactly, because the ship is sinking, and leadership is playing the only trick they know through continued layoffs, they need the employees who are left bailing water as fast as they can.

HR has joined the thread. Message always is “shut up and get to work”. That should be the new Medtronic Mindset slogan.

Ever since covid started until today, everyone has been not on summer hours but on vacation hours. So stop complaining and get to work if you want to continue getting a paycheck. You have a contract with the company. You work and the company pays. They don't have to bend to your needs and if they do, it is a benefit.

I’ve been to a number of the Minnesota locations on Fridays, and I can tell you that even without summer hours nobody is around Friday after 2PM regardless.

Does anyone think that our number one priority of shareholder returns is going to improve the employee experience? If so, it's time to wake up.

WOW, remote employees have had unlimited Friday summer hours including their 4 day weekend for years. This new policy only hurts the onsite 5 days a week. employee. SMH
