I have seen a lot of new R&D and Quality job openings for Hyderbad. My theory is Medtronic will transfer all the lower risk and lower complexity New Development projects there first and slowly move the rest of the projects there. R&D jobs here will be dead in the next several years.

R&D - what OUs?
Are they going to cut New Product Development projects and Post Market Cost down projects?

Early Early research is different animal.

Great… I just heard R&D. Looks like I should just quietly stop doing my work.

It’s coming and it will be big. One target is centralized lab services: sterilization, biocompatibility. Good luck to everyone.

Old news. This is the ventilator layoffs. Announced in March. If it’s on WARN that means it already happened 60 days ago, as medtronic keeps you on the payroll until then.
