What will the annual Expat salary email say?

Expecting more reductions… anyone got the info?

Every benchmark produces the exact outcome EM wants, without fail. Benchmarks not based on real world data. Smoke and mirrors.

Now most expats are from India so Expat benefits are to be compared to India standard instead of US standard.

Well, for India, your kids live 90min from school, they have no sports/kids activities, there is sewage is the streets, and nothing in your apartments are maintained at any acceptable standard.

Of course, this is in conjunction with all of the other across the board cuts (manage your old house in the USA, losing $ on car sales, etc.)

Also, don’t see a single expat in India that isn’t 8hrs + in that office.

Aside from that, it is the best expat setup, which should tell you how bad the expat circuit currently is. If you came here for overseas opportunities, you should be looking elsewhere. None are worth it, and even the decent ones - like India - have huge downsides and almost 0 support from the company.

India is best place to Expat. Unbelievable premium. And moreover most expats I talk to, they work little hours in office. Go at 11, come back by 4. Take calls from Houston 8-10. Awesome life

It will say we have benchmarked but won’t tell you against who or how and it will say EM pay too much and hence they will reduce allowances again. And then S&D will complain no one wants to expat any more.

Yes, it will say that your allowances are too high based on monetary spikes on exchange rate. It will also say that you will be ranked relative to your peers in Spring and Bangalore and that you svck and should consider leaving on your own accord.

It will cut premium and benefits and then management will continue to claim "no one has mobility anymore".
