Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

What’s the Over/Under that this the year that Xerox goes out of business/sold/merger

For years I’ve been part of this downfall.
For years I’ve been saying “how much worse can it get?!”
For years I’ve been wondering “Is this the year Xerox finally goes out of business or gets bought or merges or something major”

I believe the entire industry is due for consolidation. Too many manufacturers of a product that has fewer and fewer customers.

I believe that consolidation will begin with whatever happens with Xerox.

Is this the year?

Fuji has had access to our complete Docushare library for years. They have stolen anything worth stealing. Why buy the company, when they already have all the design files. They can just build whatever they want. Where do you think Revoria came from?

Getting rid of our own OEM Production printers from Fujifilm (& other office printers) is reallly making way for a Fujifilm buyout. Some key management knows this and not telling the street … will amount to non-disclosure violation.

“ Keep moving those goal posts year in and year out. Xerox is never going out of business, so keep on trolling. 100 more years!”

This is why nothing changes. Deny deny deny. This guy will be shocked when he gets his notice.

no one in their right mind would buy a "production business" consisting of 300 units per year.....iGen5, Baltoro and Nuvera amount to a staggering 30 units / month or less....
Xerox is a Fuji Dealer, but the largest dealer in the world. That is the business model. OEM from years ago to super dealer with their own branding of the Fuji box. Fix the reasons clients leave Xerox - Billing Billing Billing, Collections Collections, Collections bring it back to US, provide world class client experience like Apple - must be high paid US folks. result, clients pay on time are overjoyed with ease of doing business with Xerox. Will Xerox invest to make a great client experience? Or will they continue the decline with HCL?

Don't want to be out of a job or see anyone else out of work, but just get it over with already.

Lots of money coming in from post sale so the ride can go on for years but expect continued mass layoffs no way the company can support so many employees when it doesn't make anything anymore

Not this year. Nothing to sell. It will shut down 2026. No recovery strategy.

No chance of going under. I wouldn't be surprised to see a sale now that the production products are gone. But that takes a long time and isn't likely this year.
