Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

What's the story with OFSE Q1?

Was Q1 good, bad or ugly for OFSE? We were told it was quite bad and that IET had to carry our weight this quarter HOWEVER it was still within the forecast. To add to the confusion Maria even put a post on LinkedIn on how happy she was about OFSE "solid performance" in Q1.
Also interesting that cuts are justified using the argument of very short term quarter results HOWEVER, after a super 2023, the first thing they did in January was a reduction in force. Is any of this convoluted narrative making any sense to you?

It’s because they paid out millions in severance packages for brutal and uncalled for layoffs.
