Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Lull before bad Q?

Feels like a typical lull before bad quarterly earnings results. Poor NPI, quiet in corporate roles, slowdown in the plants. See anything that contradicts? Assuming more annual cuts coming and looking for any signs for optimism

suspect there will be more cuts when Mr. Brown comes in. He probably would be shocked to see the amount of fats in this current organization. so much layers of reporters collating data upwards.

There is no way Brown dumps Pete. He is already up high in the brown rear. Easily lining them up to mow them down. He is likely the Hatchet man Brown will be happy to have. As long as the top guy's can squeeze more blood from the turnip they will gladly do so.

I think Tireman is out the door once the new CEO takes over!

Agreed on the current peace in plants... not much push for productivity in recent months since announcement. Seems Tireman & gang taking their foot off the pedal for now.

3M in the dead zone until new CEO arrives. Take advantage of the quiet.

We were in Starbucks the other day and they had no chai mix for chai tea. Fed Ex pulled up with a load of cups. Impressive supply chain.

Tireman's days are numbered. He'll be back to serving coffee at Starbucks in no time.

Tireman has been relatively quiet lately. Didn't hear him b*tching to cut costs. Guess that is a sign that's okay Q1 performance
