Wells Fargo did the same thing, huge lay offs and moved work to India. Why are companies doing this ? I bailed from Medtronic a couple of months ago on my own.

Scott is doing a great job moving jobs to India and Ireland to "save costs" while destroying the livelihoods of Americans, all in the name of "creating shareholder value."

Geoff actually did go to a Taylor Swift concert at SoFi stadium with Medtronic employees from the Neurovascular operating unit in Irvine. Company jet to get there. Organized by the leader of that operating unit in July 2023. Funny thing is that leader didn’t invite his boss BW and eventually found himself out of an OU leadership job 8 months later. In his words, moving on to taking an important role per Geoff to transform commercial sales across all Medtronic US. Lesson for remaining Neuroscience employees - never ever pass up asking BW whether he would like to go see Taylor Swift especially if he is your boss.
