You can opt out of using CVS pharmacy and use a pharmacy of your choice. We did. Will never use CVS pharmacy. Call CVS and tell them you want to opt out.

Your opinion about Indian companies is biased as article lists recall from both Florida based manufacturing and Indian company . India accounts for 20-30% pharmaceuticals worldwide and there has been issues/recalls on dr-gs manufactured in India but so has been with dr-gs manufactured outside of India . It’s clearly oversight gaps , profits over ethics vs .country where they are manufactured .

Stay away from Indian generic dr-gs and medications of all kinds, and their store label products. Their supply chains are tainted and their manufacturing facilities unhygienic. Look up tainted Indian cough syrup deaths in Africa and Central Asian countries (former USSR countries). These are not isolated incidents. Indian dr-g manufacturing oversight is absent and fully hands-off. Consume Indian dr-gs and medications at your own risk, because governments don’t care.
US government— They want medications at any cost, at the cheapest cost.
Indian Government— They want Pharma exports to continue to rise, and bring valuable foreign exchange $$$.
