Are Lumen VPs leaving in droves or is Lumen creating more VP positions? Seeing lots on VP hiring for Lumen in LinkedIn posts lately.

Coming from a former Lumen VP, you see them leaving in droves because we see the writing on the wall. There's no upside or possibility this company is going to turnaround so high need to get out now before it's too late.
From my departmental prospect VPs are being riffed and those with new hires are to replace with VPs with experience on new edge products and rid of telecom centric VPs

How's that strategy working out? Lumen stock price back down to $1.06 today.
As long as the polish con man is doing his shady stuff the company remains clueless.
I applied. Let's see how far my AAS degree and "years of craft work" will get me in today's world!! It said Bachelors degree required...I will go print one of those from dirtlickers.com just in case I make it to the interviewing stage. By the way, isn't there enough data points out there that prove to the contrary of these edumacated individuals making good life decisions, much less making decisions for 100's to 1000's of other people's lives??? What a beautiful model we have created, just hope your job is "ESSENTIAL" enough to get loans written off, and your 18yr old mind made the right choice at the right time. We are all classified to some extent, were you fortunate enough to be born at the right time, in the right place, to the right parents in order to make that level?? I apparently was not that fortunate and as I look around years later....98% of you are in the same sludge pond as me! A big welcome and hello to all my new neighbors just now coming to this realization. May you too find peace with your "mature" life decision at 18.
George Carlin once said "a failing company can always use more VPs". The audience broke out into laughter.
Would it be a surprise to anyone that 10yrs from now you see a glorious picture of the current SLT guard, hovered around a bo-b fire on a white sanded, private beach with cocktails in hand the size of your head? These moves are not for the betterment of the company at that level, only for the betterment of each individual within the network of friends. This has gone on for decades in "big business" and some oldies might refer to it as: the good old boys' club. Nothing new other than them openly smacking us in the face with it now!
That's what all the layoffs are for, to pay for these overly hyped, saturated titles. In SLT land: its called "padding the landing" which is also closely related to: scapegoats for all the saturated SLT titles above them! The golden parachute is substantial enough that these people are willing to put themselves in that position: great resume filler, and paid coming in and out no matter the results...sign me up please
yeah, that'll work... because edge products are making so much revenue for the company right now, NOT!
