Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Layoff.com Witch Hunt Fallacy

I've heard a lot of side chatter about how some people are boasting with confidence that they know who is posting what and I am laughing hysterically.

Why such confidence? Because they don't have the technical skills to know what anyone who works for an innovation company should master.

Did the tic tic server hijacking teach them anything? If you have half a brain you know how to create an alter technical footprint to make you look like someone you are not. And if you really want to send them down a rabbit hole you double down on that footprint so they believe it is one person. But most smart people just leverage the US and International privacy laws via a layered approach. They redirect to make it appear as if they are using a different device than they use (I was informed that they thought it was one person with one device, for example so I changed all of my posts to reflect that type of device even though I personally /physically use a totally different OS).

Using the layoff posts as a gauge to who is speaking up is as logical as letting the head of an insanely profitable revenue division go.

Good luck with that!

What is interesting is,
If they do know, then this site broke the law by disclosing. I've never seen any posts relating to threats or real risk toward someone or Avaya. And even if there was, only authorities can know. Avaya can't.
If you have heard such claims, you should report them to the layoff as they may have violated privacy laws depending on a person's browser settings and country of origin.

This site is compelling.

Incredibly insightful. Informative. Accurate and "triggering". I personally love how it triggers the corporate overlords. You ALWAYS know when rumors are accurate when marketing gets posts deleted.

Also fascinating that they would fight to take these posts down, but allowed those bizarre employees to post anything they wanted on linked in and Twitter for over a year. So upside down

This is accurate. And I've also found it humorous when it was implied that they "knew". It just goes to show that these "powers that be" or the clueless enforcers don't know how to spell technology, innovation or security.

I'm an ex Avaya employee. I check on this site for 2 reasons. 1 amusement. 2 Being a represented ex-employee I figure as long as Avaya has union employees they'll play nice with retirees.
