Probably not until Vena leaves for good. You have many corporate entities now starting to fight back against the activist investors. If you're familiar with the NS saga, then you'll know exactly what I mean. The stock price is now lower than it was when Vena first showed up. The interesting part is that the stock price has been on a steady downward trend for over a week now. The idea of calling many of the furloughed folks back probably isn't going to happen. I see some coming back, but I see a whole lot more micromanaging in the very near future from lower management. That reason alone is going to be the likely reason many won't come back. The UP did this to themselves!

@2dwn-Sadly, you’re not too far off with your post. I some ways that’s exactly how I feel too.

I can’t believe that people are wanting to come back when all I want to be is furloughed! Before all you trolls 🧌 say “there’s the door” or “no one’s keeping you here” I've became institutionalized and I have Stockholm syndrome! I hate it every single minute of everyday I’m at that god forsaken shop but I have too many years in and they know it! I’m in an abusive relationship where the abuser will say things like “I’ll change” I’ll do better” or “I’m doing this for us” sometimes I’m stupid enough to still believe them. My family tells me “just leave” walk out the door” at which point I say “UP just has issues they have to work through theyll change” they love me”

Most will be recalled after Vena is done running the company to the ground, not sure what exactly will be left. Let's all hope and pray he gets some terminal disease

Short term, no.
Long term, yes.
When? When Vena is gone and the only thing left to to is rebuild.

If people do get called back, most say no thanks. That's because they already found a much better job. Like me!
