Quite a few people that I know in WFM were let go today. Its sad to see knowledgable people get let go like this. They said they had zero warning and they have been busy non stop with tickets and other workloads. They said that their jobs are going overseas.

I believe they will try and use the new pip standards to push us out first so they can save on thier 2 week severance. Make people as miserable as possible so they quit and if not get them with impossible metrics and expectations. Pretty sh---y way to end things.
I believe severance is going to be different for everyone if they base it off past pay outs. It is supposed to be 2 weeks paid for every year you’ve been with Wayfair. Knowing how shady this company is I would believe everyone would be lucky to get 2 weeks. I see comments about getting laid off with no warning. There won’t be any. This site is giving a heads up. This is the best we get. Anyone in the US still working from home is in jeopardy. If you are not in Boston or Athens or extremely cheap labor. You are not safe.
Its gonna be impossible to get schedule issues resolved without the US WFM people. I have FMLA and the person who helps me is overseas and its impossible to get help from her. My time is all messed up and I have a ton of points when I shouldn't have. I dont think management understand the stress that FMLA people are under with all the WFM changes.
Only 2 weeks severance was given to my buddy.

Vague thread on Blind stating to Brace - its coming! Wayfair will not stop until everything but c suite is outsourced.
It would seem at this point, no one is safe. So we all have a choice to make. Stay until it’s our turn. Or get out now while we still have an ounce of sanity. I do not believe anyone will be spared, if your job can be done by anyone in India or Jamaica. This company’s greed will be its downfall. I’m so sorry for those who were let go and those of us next in line.
So now we will be scheduled by overseas agents and that’s who we send our issues to. While we still have jobs that is.
I'm so sorry for all of them. Wayfair is a soulless entity. The US needs labor reform to protect Americans from outsourcing. I hope they lose their customer base!
WFM is workforce management. They are the people that work the tickets when the system marks you for something in error, if you have system issues, etc. They also do a lot of the planning and forecasting for calls. This is kind of insane because they just had a job posting up within the last week or two.
What does WFM stand for? How many people? What levels, L1, L2, etc? Any more details?
